Expected Behavior
We expect all Feelr community members to:
- Be Respectful: Treat others with kindness and respect, even when you disagree
- Be Authentic: Represent yourself honestly and accurately
- Be Inclusive: Welcome people of all backgrounds, identities, and perspectives
- Communicate Clearly: Use your words to build understanding, not confusion
- Respect Boundaries: Honor others' comfort levels and privacy preferences
- Give Feedback Thoughtfully: Help us improve by reporting issues and sharing constructive feedback
Prohibited Content & Behavior
The following are not allowed on Feelr:
Harassment & Abuse
- Bullying, threats, or intimidation
- Unwanted sexual advances or content
- Stalking or persistent unwanted contact
- Doxxing (sharing private information without consent)
Hateful Content
- Content promoting violence or hatred based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
- Slurs or derogatory language targeting protected groups
- Symbols or imagery associated with hate groups
Illegal Activity
- Promoting, facilitating, or engaging in illegal activities
- Sharing or soliciting illegal substances
- Fraud, scams, or deceptive practices
- Violation of intellectual property rights
Harmful Content
- Graphic violence or gore
- Self-harm or suicide promotion
- Child exploitation or endangerment
- Non-consensual intimate imagery
Spam & Manipulation
- Unsolicited commercial messages or advertisements
- Fake accounts or impersonation
- Artificially manipulating matches or engagement
- Bots or automated behavior
Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines:
- Use In-App Reporting: Tap the report button on any profile, message, or match
- Block the User: Immediately remove them from your matches and prevent further contact
- Contact Support: For urgent safety concerns, email [email protected]
All reports are reviewed by our team. We take violations seriously and respond promptly.
Enforcement
Violations of these guidelines may result in:
- Warning: First-time minor violations receive a warning
- Temporary Suspension: Repeated or moderate violations result in account suspension
- Permanent Ban: Serious or repeated violations lead to permanent account removal
- Legal Action: Illegal activity may be reported to law enforcement
We review each case individually and consider context, severity, and user history.
Appeals
If you believe your account was restricted in error, you can appeal by contacting [email protected] with your account details and explanation. We'll review your case within 5 business days.
Updates to Guidelines
We may update these guidelines periodically. Continued use of Feelr constitutes acceptance of the current guidelines. Major changes will be communicated via in-app notifications.
